I'm Claudio, a third year PhD student at the University of Southampton, with solid background in Maths & Science, ready to help students reach their goals.

I have 2 years of experience as tutor at the Engineering Foundation Year at the University of Southampton, in the Mechanical Science and Engineering Principles modules. Here I cover general topics in Maths, Physics and Thermodynamics, helping students get ready for their final exams.

During sessions I normally take some time to revisit those areas where students might have misconceptions or gaps, paving the way to a better understainding of more complex and advanced topics.
I have a friendly and supportive approach to students. I love helping them build more confidence through an engaging but relaxed atmosphere. I'm also very patient and don't mind reviewing the same topic more times if they struggle to understand it.

My tutoring will be online since I reckon if offers great flexibility without compromising the quality of teaching. I had experience with remote sessions during lockdown and they ran smoothly and efficiently.
