I am a very enthusiastic person who likes to tailor to the needs of the students. I have extensive experience working with elementary students/schools in the US as well as with university students in the Middle East. My strength is in writing and reading comprehension. I also have training in special education and can work with different cognitive levels. I have lived in different countries which helps me to understand nonnative speakers as well. My typical lesson will pull from student's previous knowledge and personal experience and continue building on that foundation with new material. I like to use many resources and vary the lesson so that we can get a well rounded learning experience. My approach is completely student centered so communication and student lead activities are some of my go to's. I love to learn together so there will be lots of variety in the sessions!
