In terms of my own experience, I studied English at both GCSE and A level- for my GCSE I received grade 9 in both Literature and Language. I was taught GCSEs in two different ways due to moving schools at age 14. At my first school, I was taught more about grammar, and the history behind the work, being taught how to read the different pieces of work and have a good base in English. At my second school, the lessons were more content based, but we were taught more about what the markers are looking for towards the end of the year. I believe from this I have a strong basis to teach English regardless of what style you learn in, as from this I can be adaptable in my lessons.
(Having learnt English at 2 schools with different choices of books means I've probably read what you're studying before as well!)
Feel free to message and let me know what you'd like to learn, and I can help by focusing in in any areas you would like to improve at. I'm new to tutoring so I'll adapt to whatever your learning style is, and will definitely not be set in my ways!
