Hi, my name is Claire and I have been tutoring Primary and Secondary School students for 6 years now. I believe that education is one of the most important things for a child's development and am extremely passionate about education and teaching private classes.

My professional journey started out as a state school primary school teacher. I taught as a primary school teacher for 4 years before becoming a full-time private tutor so I have extensive experience working with younger children as well as lesson planning, mediation and all the other skills you pick up working in a classroom of 30 7-8 year olds!

How can I help you or your child?

I give private one-to-one lessons after school for children aged 5 all the way up to 18. I have experience teaching a range of subjects including, Maths, Science, English and French. My classes are designed to complement what is being taught in school to help students pass the SATs, the 11 plus, their GCSEs and A Levels as well as provide more general support for those who need it. I tailor my lessons completely to the student and am happy to make any adjustments and change the classes to whatever you or your child needs.
