I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been teaching in classrooms and tutoring in person and online for over six years. I also create teaching resources for other teachers and educators. I am friendly, patient and supportive, tailoring my lessons to each individual student to help them reach their potential. I offer a free initial chat with students and parents/guardians to learn about their requirements and what they would like to get out of private tutoring. I strive to make my lessons engaging by linking the learning to each student's personal interests where possible, and providing positive incentives. I continually assess students' progress and use this to inform the next steps in learning, whilst keeping parents/guardians informed every step of the way.

I offer tutoring for all primary subjects from EYFS to Year 6, with a particular focus on Year 6 SATs preparation and school entrance exam support for 7+, 8+ and 11+ exams. My methods include using past papers and SATs-stylw questions to boost confidence in my students. I find that many children feel much more confident in their abilities during exams when they have had sufficient exposure to exam-style questions beforehand. I try to make lessons fun and engaging by including educational games and short video clips where appropriate. I am able to build a positive rapport with students quickly, making them feel at ease. I have a 100% success rate with all of my students so far passing their school entrance exams/SATs and being accepted into their first-choice schools.
