Cintia Scian

My name is Cintia Carolina Scian, I am 44 years old and I live in La Plata, capital city of Buenos Aires Province in Argentina. I am married and I have got two children (16 and 23 years old).
I finished secondary school at Instituto Inmaculada in 1997 and I got my Middle School Degree specialized in Literature and Humanities. After leaving school I completed two courses of studies, and I graduated as a Bilingual Executive Secretary and English Spanish Translator in 2006. I worked as a translator for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (medical US insurance company) and in 2011 I started my teaching career. I Completed the Teacher Training Course and got my degree as an English Teacher in 2021.
I currently work as an English teacher at secondary and primary school, and I also deliver online classes at different levels. I work as a freelance translator as well, and I have just started working as an OPI interpreter.
I like to be always updated, so I usually take courses of spacialization, on special needs, materials and current teaching methods, I love attending to conferences and dissertations on teaching (my last one was in August 2024 at Mar del Plata University)
I strongly believe I am perfect for the position you offer. I love teaching, and I have experience in handling groups. I am always willing to learn, and I think this could be a great opportunity for my personal and professional development.
