I have a no judgement zone with all pupils, students can approach me with any concerns regarding their academic abilities. If students approached me with specific concepts they are struggling with, the concept will be reintroduced in a range of ways in order to fit the pupils learning styles. A range of resourcing will be used to accommodate the pupils needs such as PowerPoints, worksheets, mindmaps and so on. Before completing a session, students will then be asked to explain the concept in their own unique way that is comprehensive to them. Homework can also be set for students to practice independently. Homework from school can also be completed with me if students are still having trouble grasping the concept and teaching the concept will be revisited by stripping it down to the simplest form.
