I am currently a Sociology with Criminology student at the University of Liverpool. After studying Sociology at A level, my interest in this subject was made apparent. In the future, I hope to become a teacher and teach this subject full time. I attended a grammar school for both secondary school and sixth form. I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. I have previous teaching experience from when I volunteered at a secondary school for a year, in the social studies and humanities department. My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging and supportive. I believe that it is important that students have exposure to a safe environment where they feel comfortable to ask questions and learn from their mistakes. Lessons are designed around what both myself and the student feel are areas of weakness, as well as maintaining engagement by being fun and the appropriate level of challenge.
