I have tutored quite a few students during my time in school and in doing this I was able to build up the necessary experience and skills to become an excellent tutor such as empathy and perseverance. I was also able to help these students improve and become more confident in the areas they struggled with. The method which I deem to be most effective is making students participate in active learning where you will be able to take control of your own learning and develop skills such as problem solving and attentiveness which are essential for acing your exams. As well as this I put a big emphasis on practice as I believe that is the best way to build up confidence and speed to tackle questions. Lessons will consist of first going over content and material for a topic. Then going over some example questions and then finally letting you face some on your own and a small review at the end. My key goal is to make you not only do well in your exams but to also make learning more fun and enjoyable for you.
