Hello. I'm Chris, a fully qualified primary teacher who has taught both in the UK and also internationally in Asia. I have over 25-years' experience teaching primary school children, especially those who have English as an additional language. I'm keen to help you improve your basic skills in English and maths. I love teaching, travelling, swimming and exploring new countries and cultures.

I have extensive experience working from Year 1 to Year 6; both internationally and in the UK. Throughout my career I have held several leadership positions in mathematics, assessment, and curriculum development, so I have strong subject knowledge and am very clear of the U.K. teaching curriculum. My experience includes working with many children and families who do not speak English as their first language. I pride myself on building safe, caring and supportive relationships between all students and their families.

My private lessons support and guide you through the learning process, taking things step by step at your own pace. I use lots of IT and games to model and demonstrate what you're learning and give you plenty of opportunity to practise things along the way.
