During my lessons i will use a blend of theoretical teaching mixed with some practical exercises, i will use a lot story telling to help you to relate the subject matter to your day to day life depending on what areas i am teaching. should i be teaching a subject such as Auto-Cad or Solid works i will help you to work through the programme by guiding you through step by step.

Should i be delivering First Aid in person i will opt for a hands on approach to this and describe different aspects with some presentation, and then follow up with practical exercises allowing myself to asses what has been taught and giving the student the chance to practice.

In classroom setting where i teach theoretical knowledge for a given subject such as Health and safety we will carry out research activities allowing the student to find information for a given task and present it, i will also use group activities to get everyone involved, this way the whole group can learn from one another and assess the learning of everyone in the room, i will use my own assessment material to ensure that groups are on track and have followed the lesson appropriately ensuring that learning has taken place and that every person in the room is happy to continue and move forward at the same pace.

During my lessons you will typically be faced with a task, and asked to work individually or as a team in order to complete the task at hand, i do not like to stand and give lengthy presentations about subjects as this can be boring and students will quickly lose interest.
