Hi there! I'm Chris and i'm a tutor for GCSE / A-Level Computer Science & Mathematics. I'm currently in my 2nd year studying Computer Science at the University of Bath. I have six years of programming experience under my belt, have spent six months in industry as a software engineer and have a strong passion for both programming and maths.

I took GCSE computer science, maths, further maths and statistics as well as computer science and maths at A-Level (All 9's and A*s respectively), so i understand what it takes to succeed and i would love to help impart that knowledge (including all the tips and shortcuts) onto others.

What i offer:
- Comprehensive 1-1 support covering both theory and programming!
- Sessions, either online or in person tailored to your pace and individual preferences!
- Detailed first hand understanding of coursework components (NEA)!
- 24/7 access to all materials provided!
- A tutor that works with you, not just for you, and wants to see you succeed!

Format:
Normally, I teach online sessions using Zoom. Given a topic, i'll create and compile resources to work through during the lesson. I'll also point you to some amazing online tools that can be accessed on any device, just about anywhere. I like to keep things open, so after talking theory. i like to discuss and let students experiment. (If it's coding, for instance, making little fun programs is a fun way to learn!)

I want to equip students with an understanding of concepts that goes deeper than just memorising for an exam; i want students to be able to take what they've learned and understand how it can be used to solve problems and then apply it.

What Languages can i teach?
- I mainly program in C# and Python
- I have experience with Java, Haskell and C++

I'm always available to be contacted if you have any questions or concerns, or just want to know why your code isnt working.

I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to arrange a session!
