I have over 20 years' people management experience ranging from managing 70 staff at a Jobcentre in South London, to being the Manager of the Public Inquiry into the railway accident at Southall in 1997. Through my work at ACAS, I have witnessed first-hand how workplace scenarios can become hugely problematic, if handled poorly by organisations or their managers. I weave this experience into my training courses to provide context, with anecdotal examples of both bad and good practice.
