I've had the privilege of being taught by Mr. Kichan for 2 years, 1 year in IGCSE Extended Mathematics and 1 year in IBDP Mathematics AA HL. Thanks to Mr. Kichan, I was able to significantly improve my grades from D in my first Extended Mathematics chapter test to A* in my IGCSE certificate. On the other end with IBDP Maths AAHL, I was able to improve from an IB Grade of 5 as my first semester grade to a 7 as my final semester grade while I was taught by Mr. Kichan. Mr. Kichan definitely upholds the phrase "maths is fun" and he shows it in his classes. He naturally makes sure his students have fun while learning maths. His teaching style also encourages his students to utilize critical thinking instead of just explaining the topics to really perfect his students's knowledge on mathematics. I, without a doubt, would recommend him.

We meet many people every day, but only some leave an indelible impact, and one of them is Mr. Christian. I have had the pleasure of being his student for 4 years now at SIS KG, first as a Mathletes coach, then as my IBDP Math AA HL teacher. Mr. Christian's mindful presence to understand each student's learning style and effective delivery of lectures displays his exceptional teaching abilities while intellectually stimulating my interest in the subject and helping me improve my performance. His passion to instill a love for Math in students is represented through his support and guidance as cofounder of SISMO. I appreciate Mr. Christian's compassion to ensure our wellbeing and friendly nature that is always a calming presence.
