After 5 years at Eton College, I am lucky enough to say I have experienced some of the best teaching that the world has to offer. I know what worked, and what didn't, because I was in your position. My goal is to give you a taste of that education, and I promise you'll appreciate it.
Tutoring is a way of bringing variation and fresh perspective to revision and learning. I'm convinced that 20 minutes of good conversation about a subject can be more productive than an hour of solo paper-crunching; this is where I come in.
Hours and hours spent in silence, hunched over old scraps of school work is no way to revise. My classes with provide direction and energy that will transform revision into an engaging, varied exercise that both tutor and student will enjoy.
This is the reason I chose to start tutoring. To be able to talk about my subjects, and create bonds with people who also want to learn more seems to me like a dream job. However, if you hate your subject, I'm here for you too. It's important to understand that you can never write off a subject completely. One must be open to the possibility that one day, you may recover your lost passion for whichever subject that terrible teacher in primary school ruined for you.
One of the roles I play as a tutor is a sort of first-responder for dying passions. Figuratively speaking, I'm going to perform CPR on your seemingly lost interests.
