I was born and bred in the most renowned educational environment in the world (Oxford) and I feel it's in my blood to be in the educational sector. I now work in the meditteranean on a beautiful island called Cyprus. I am a positive person who has enthusiasm generally on life. I get a great sense of achievement from seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. For instance, when my students take Cambridge Exams and pass with excellent results then I know that I have made a positive impact on their future. I also feel that I am a good communicator, in all skills and have a strong ability to plan and organise effectively, which is an important role of a teacher. My adult students that have come for professional purposes have had promotions due to the fact that they had the opportunity to find a teacher that has helped them immerse in the English environment.
I cope well especially in the summer school environment where there is tremendous pressure on teaching methods and the diversity of roles, which a really enjoyed. I got on well with my work colleagues which was crucial for a smooth collaboration. My teaching style the last 2 or 3 years has been primarily online or face to face teaching. I adapt my teaching style in order to cater for everyone and make my lesson as interesting as possible. I've used the talking pen, virtual reality mask (only possible for face -face) and I use well know publishers as a guide for my lessons, online games etc.. all this leads to a better learning experience overall. Finally, I have an approach to cater for all learning styles and requirements. I look forward to meeting you.
