Ill usually have a chat with you at the beginning of our lesson to understand what you struggling with and why you are struggling with it. This way I understand you and pick a method that works for you.
After this, we will start from the basics in that particular topic instead of just going straight to what you may struggle with. This way you understand the topic and can even teach it to someone else. We will work at your pace so you feel comfortable. I use a lot of stories and visuals to teach and this way Math is more fun and less abstract!
