I am happy to tutor either face to face or in person and always adapt my sessions to the needs of students. In our initial session we will discuss what you are currently studying as well as your strengths and areas for improvement and what you would like to achieve from both the qualification you are studying for, and from tutoring. After that, each session will be thoroughly planned to support a deepening understanding of subject content or to focus on improving exam technique/strategies to build confidence around revision and exams themselves. I am happy to use PowerPoints/provide notes as needed, or we can work on creating these together. I have a wealth of experience teaching in the classroom, as well as experience in supporting teachers develop their own skills and so feel confident we can tailor sessions together to address your needs. My coaching experience will also help support you to feel empowered to succeed in your studies.

In the past I have tutored students in the run to exams by focusing onn particular topics they have found hard to understand, breaking them down and finding ways to help content stick in memory. I have also worked with several A Level students to improve the quality of NEA pieces to ensure that you can enter the exam hall safe in the knowledge your NEA is the best it can be.
