Chris Vonk

I'm a British native tutor, from the south of England.
I'm a full-time tutor of BUSINESS ENGLISH and GENERAL ENGLISH, teaching adults for more than 3 years.
I have personal work experience in corporate IT; Accounts and Finance; Customer Service; Hospitality; Child care; and Fitness.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy cooking, learning French, traveling with my wife, and walking my dog. I like to keep up to date with sports, economy, finance, and technology and fintech. I have diplomas in fitness, and childcare. I am currently studying Accountancy, and French.

Lessons with me are engaging and fun. To start with we will focus on small talk, talking about the weather, getting to know each other, then progress to required materials for your target learning ability. You will also learn about cultural specifics in the UK.
Regarding business specific English, can be provided with a course relevant to your level, where you will have the opportunity to explore vocabulary in the workplace, during meetings, giving presentations, and interview practice, and writing a CV.

All students will have access to learning materials that will enhance reading, writing, and listening skills, and if required, writing skills, including e-mails. I'm always prepared for each lesson, and if you have time, you will be encouraged to complete homework. Learning doesn't just start and end in the classroom. The more effort you put in each week, brings you closer to your goals.
