I am an award-winning fine art photography whose work has been published, exhibited and sold to collectors internationally. I am also a member of the Lizard Arts Collective in Cornwall, UK, who exhibit at the Stableyard Gallery on the historic Trelowarren Estate.

Following an initial informal session to assess your level of competence and skills, and to determine what you want or need to learn and the kind of photography you want to produce , I will then tailor future sessions to specifically meet your requirements.

Sessions can start with the basics about the camera and settings e.g. focus, aperture, exposure and ISO etc. and progress to effective use of a variety of techniques to apply to your photography such as effective use of depth of field, composition and basic photo editing. In learning photography or becoming a better photographer there is no substitute for taking photographs, so sessions, or part of sessions will involve looking at your photographs with a constructive, critical eye and discussion about how they might be improved. It is also important to look at the work of some of the best photographers and understand what makes their photographs great. The aim is to support and guide you on your own personal journey to making better photographs.

I believe that once you have mastered the basic technical skills and learned how to apply them, the most important thing for any Photographer is to develop an eye and mindset for creating great images and developing your own visual style.
