I plan and deliver fun, engaging and challenging lessons. In my lessons my students will practice reading, writing discussion and debate. I will using individualised programs to meet my students needs.

Lessons begin with recaps from previous sessions and then move through teacher modelling, scaffolds practice and then into student independent practice. I can assist in exam preparation, looking at assessment technique and how to maximise marks in timed conditions. I have experience in teaching A Level English Literature and Language as well as Liturature as a discreet subject. I am proficient and experienced in many GCSE English exam board specifications.

I have a depth of knowledge about all GCSE literature set texts including Shakespearean plays (eg Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet) and 19th century novels (Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, A Christmas Carol).

I am up to date with established teaching and learning practices and can cater for individual needs.

I can also cater for groups which will bring individual costs down.

I can also offer a range of supports for students with Special Educational needs such as dyslexia and ASD. I can offer coaching for students that are experiencing mental health issues.
