The key to my method is to create lessons around content that is interesting and useful to YOU. In the first lesson we will discuss what you want to learn, why you want to learn it and what outcomes we can realistically expect. Lessons are almost entirely conversation based, with themes and vocabulary support based on the areas highlighted in Lesson 1. We won’t practice finding the Post Office if this is of no use to you!

I believe motivated students can find all the listening and reading practice they need online without a teacher. The most difficult skill to master and improve is speaking English well. I believe in giving students space and time to use the English they know in authentic conversation. Each individual responds differently to error correction, and I keep the right balance to push the confident students without damaging anyone's confidence.
