I will adapt my teaching to each student but generally I believe in a project based approach to teaching coding, we will learn about html, css and JavaScript and the fundamentals but the approach will be centred around actually building something we can show to the students friends and family centred around their learning level and existing knowledge.

This is to ensure that I provide the student for the necessary fundamentals of learning the languages, whilst also ensuring that learning remains fun and to keep them interested and giving them specific goals.

This I believe is similar to real world applications of programming, where you usually have a problem to solve which requires a creative solution. I will provide them with the background knowledge and aid them on creating webpages and applications helping them to build a portfolio to expand on in their further learning. All of this will be tailored around their current level of understand from beginner to more intermediate. We will explore creating a technical spec and design elements of web design and will discuss any ideas they have for small projects. The teaching will be rooted in grounding learners in the fundamentals with scope for specialisation as we proceed. The core goal is to teach them html, css and javascript which is still the entry point for developing websites and applications and becoming a coder.

For more advanced students we can also look into Node.js and React development. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
