I have an undergraduate degree in Languages - French & German. I have been a classroom teacher in secondary schools for 7 years. In that time I have guided 5 classes through their GCSEs, 2 of these classes went on to pass their GCSE with 100% success rate achieving at least a grade 5 and many students achieving grades 6 and above. I have experience teaching the AQA syllabus at GCSE and A-Level.

Although my specialism is French, I am also able to help tutor in German. As part of my degree, I spent a year living abroad in Germany working as a foreign languages assistant, teaching English in a German secondary school. It was really this placement which ignited my love for teaching.

I really enjoy interacting with people looking to develop their skills in language. I try to make my lessons as engaging and interactive as possible, striking a balance between 'work' and games/competitions. Learning something new should be fun!

I am currently very flexible with my hours but giving afternoon/evening lessons would be preferable.
