About me

I picked up my first guitar when I was 9 years old and didn't have a clue what I was doing! I never had access or the money for lessons, so I self-taught and had to learn from watching TV, reading books or watching other people play at gigs and try to remember the chords they were playing which took ages and never sounded the same. I picked up my first guitar when I was 9 years old and didn't have a clue what I was doing! I never had access or the money for lessons, so I self-taught and had to learn from watching TV, reading books or watching other people play at gigs and try to remember the chords they were playing which took ages and never sounded the same. Over the years I’ve played in bands but love just playing along with music by myself or jamming with others and when I became an accredited coach I decided to give others the opportunity to learn how to play the easy not rocket science!

By the end of your first lesson you will:

• Fully understand the guitar and all its components
• How to hold the guitar
• How to pick and strum the strings
• How to hold the neck and threat board
• How to play your 1st chord
• How to play your 2nd chord
• Be able to put them together ready to practice by yourself!!

I will then give you some home work to continue your new skills and it's true PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT and then if you feel comfortable and want to continue learning from me then great, if not no problem but JUST KEEP PLAYING!!!!

I’d never held a guitar before and Chris was able to start with the very basics and help me learn some chords. Nice guy who I felt comfortable learning with. Highly recommend for people on any stage of their guitaring journey!
