I use real world examples as much as possible to contextualise the information which enables for greater memory retention. I use real world examples as much as possible to contextualise the information which enables for greater memory retention. For example I will use my own experiences, world events or ask about my students life so they can internalise the information in a more effective way. An example of this may be the neurotransmitter dopamine and how it is important for addiction, I would also relate dopamine to the many daily tasks that promote the release of this such as eating.
