My name is Chloe, currently working towards a degree in history at the University of Warwick, as a hardworking and enthusiastic student. I am experienced in mentoring disadvantaged students and helping them process the methods in which they learn the best, differing from traditional approaches. The format I use would be individually structured teaching plans, aiming to cover all the content most efficiently and enjoyably, always being able to evaluate the needs of the students, and utilising new methods when required. I am experienced in actively engaging in history lessons, as I currently have studied it up to the second-year degree level. I will not only utilise communication as a personable teacher but also help students understand through my proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, believing they can all be used as excellent learning resources, differing from the traditional learning style, which I understand from personal experience can not always be the easiest to engage with. I am willing to work with students of all ages and abilities and will provide the hard work to provide them with the best results. I am passionate about education as a form of bettering the individual, currently working on a community project to allow local history to be more accessible and interesting, something which I believe transfers skills to provide me with the basis to be a good tutor, helping build the students confidence so they can get the results they need, but also put past what they believe they can achieve.
