Hello, my name is Chloe and I'm an experienced tutor keen to help you achieve the grades you deserve.

My one-to-one sessions allow me to tailor the sessions to you and how you learn best. Therefore, in our first session I will ask you what topics you want me to focus on and how you learn best, after all we're here to help you improve.

I will start each session by assessing how much you already know by asking some questions. I will then teach you in small chunks followed by exam style questions so you're familiar of the format in your exams making them less daunting. I often find student know a lot more than they think its more about linking ideas together and knowing what questions are looking for. I will make sessions interactive and explain things in ways that are easier to remember. I hope to give students more confidence in their abilities and make Science/Maths more interesting and enjoyable. I also like to integrate real life applications to the world of Science from by current and past research projects.

I have two years experience in tutoring Maths and Science at GCSE level. I have also been a mentor and tutored at degree level. I am involved in the children's work at my church and enjoy working with children. I find tutoring very rewarding and love seeing my students achieve the grades they deserve.

A bit about me - Outside of work I love to play ultimate frisbee and play the guitar.
