Any sessions you book with me will have past paper questions which will allow me to gauge your ability of the subject I am tutoring you for. We will then go over the questions answered during a session and help you improve your answer and understanding.
However, I will allow you to express your needs. If you need me to help you understand the content better before we cover your answers or vice versa- I'm happy to!
As previously mentioned, if you have needs requirements for example you need typed feedback, session notes, or diagrams I am happy to help organise and provide this for you. Just please let me know as far in advance as you can, so this can be provided for you ASAP.
I will be focusing on the course curriculum, and how best to structure your answers for the exams. However I find extra learning (otherwise known as super-curricular learning) can really help develop your understanding and so I'm happy to discuss that in our sessions too!
I have had tutoring myself, and I am aware of the challenges and experiences that can come with being a tutee, and so I am completely understanding of any questions or queries, or issues you may have! Just let me know!
I have helped my siblings through a variety of subjects, but specifically sociology, and would help friends throughout our courses. I was a Rainbow young leader for many years as a teenager and so am quite experienced in helping people learn new skills and problem-solving solutions.
