Chloe-Jane Clitherow

I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been tutoring since 2020. I started tutoring whilst in my second year of university during the first lockdown. I have tutored across all year groups in both English and Maths.

I tutor in the same style as a classroom teacher; recap/stater, input, guided work and then independent work. I will also set homework for your child should you require. I always start my lessons by either going through homework or having a starter that links to what I am tutoring your child about. I will then start to introduce what we are doing in the lesson and doing some questions together so that your child is able to do some practise before they complete independent work.

I will provide you with feedback on how your child is getting on after every couple of lessons and will always update you with what your child has done in the session.

I have been trained in primary aged maths and English and I also have experience with preparing children for phonics screening, KS1 and 2 SATs.
