I believe that every person responds differently when it comes to learning and many students find that incredibly frustrating,
My lessons are completely tailored to your needs - and if you’re not sure what will give you the best learning experience, we will go through lots of exciting and innovative alternative ways until we find your perfect learning environment!

In my experience, once we find out how you learn best I can bring out and array of different resources, from laptops to my colour coding method, tablets with hand picked educational videos, interactive quizzes.

I have a wealth of knowledge of an array of books and am passionate about classic books, where they are often seen at a secondary level. If you have a particular book you have to study that I need to read for context, I am exceptional at reading, taking notations, searching for key words and criteria so I can take you ‘for example’ a standard student up to the next level in a way you clearly understand and can put into practice with myself thanks to my access to many practice papers for years starting at SATS all the way up the GCSE.

I’d like to emphasise how important I personally think extra lessons for younger children can be and give them such a competitive edge as they grow and learn. As I’ve explained above, all the same tactics works with younger children but I do like parental input as these are things they’ll still need to practice at home. There’s also personal choices such as if you don’t like electronics in learning (which by no means run my lessons) but I want it to be a family decision of what they would like their child/children to achieve… but most importantly every lesson we will have a goal of what we want to do in that hour and how we’re going to achieve it. Sometimes children find it fun if a family member chooses one thing they want their child to achieve and in my experience it’s incredibly fun for the child to play the game with their family!

I am very family oriented and want to make sure my students family know they can always contact me and we can have our own weekly/bI weekly zoom/teams meetings and a dedicated WhatsApp that gets you straight through to me!

I hope I’ve given you a tiny taste of what I will bring to your child and how if we are all involved, children and teens will absolutely thrive under my care.
