When I tutor I prefer to do something which I call fun and firm so meaning that while I want you to enjoy lessons you also need to be able to see improvements and make use of our time so there will be tight schedules but there will be a minimum amount of homework to be done but you are more than welcome to ask for more. The homework weekly is never more than 3 pages of A4. I am 15 but I take it as a strength because I understand the pressure you going through and did the 11+ recently so still remember the techniques that helped me and many others pass.
