Chisimdi Igbogbahaka

My name is Chisimdi Igbogbahaka.
I achieved strong results in GCSE Maths and am now studying A-level Maths, which gives me a solid understanding of the subject and how it's taught in schools. Because I’ve recently been through the same exams, I know how overwhelming it can be sometimes and how helpful it is to have someone explain things in a way that actually makes sense to students.

I focus on breaking down difficult topics into simple steps and use clear examples, practice questions, and real-life links to help everything sink in well. I am patient, encouraging and supportive and I aim to make my sessions positive, friendly and relaxed so students are comfortable to ask questions whenever they are unsure.
Everyone learns differently and I always adapt to each student’s pace and style of learning—whether they need help with the basics or want to boost their exam skills.

I mainly tutor SATs and students in Years 7–9, and I love helping them build confidence, stay motivated, and realise that Maths should not be scary and can actually be enjoyable with the right support. I genuinely enjoy helping others learn, and seeing students grow in confidence and start believing in themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring. Everyone deserves to feel capable in Maths, and I’m here to make that happen.
