As a passionate academic subject instructor with 9+ years of experience and dynamic communication skills in coaching and mentoring students globally, both on online and offline
platforms, I have coached about 30,000 students. I have an outstanding expertise in teaching Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Due to how good I am in what I do, I have received quite a handful of recommendations from parents, guardians, cleric persons, colleagues and friends to engage some students on intensive private or group coaching/mentorship.
Comment statements from any student(s) I have engaged through my teachings are; "wow, I have not actually understood this topic in this perspective until now", "you've really made me to start liking chemistry and physics.... I hated it before now", "Sir, I wish I encountered you before now, I would have been a guru in these subjects you're just teaching us now" and so many other comments to list but few. I discovered that what has really made my teachings so unique for these 9 years+ are;
1.) Praying before the class commences for God to help my students with fruitful understanding of everything I will teach...and also for Him to grant me with inspirations beyond books that will make me to bring the subject matter(topic) home with relatable illustrations that will enable everyone to be carried along if it's a group class.
2.) Consistency in delivering value-packed classes for my students for a long period of time, whether offline or online.
3.) If it's group class, I make sure I bring up so many past questions with respect to the topic we trashed for that day, so that we will solve them together. At the end of the day I will drop some exercises for them to do and submit.
4.) Sometimes, I divide the students into groups and assign some topics to them, in a way to teach what they understand through it in some of my classes. This will keep them engaged in reading/learning aforehand before I bring up a well grounded teaching that will engrave the actual understanding of the topic in them.
5.) If it's a private coaching, sometimes I bring myself so low as friend to my student, so that he/she will not feel shy to ask me questions whenever he/she is confused at a particular point in my teachings. Sometimes, I include certain relatable personal challenges and stories, so that my student will know that I, as a tutor personally passed through some of those challenges he/she is currently facing. It will definitely give him/her a common hope that such challenges will be solved in due time, provided he/she followed my teachings consistently without loosing interest.
