Hi my name is Chidi and I am a maths tutor currently in Year 12.

My maths lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I start by assessing their current level of understanding to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Each lesson follows a clear format, beginning with a brief recap of previous topics, followed by step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice questions to reinforce learning. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically, helping them develop confidence and problem-solving skills.

For primary school students, I focus on building a strong mathematical foundation, covering key topics such as number operations, fractions, decimals, and problem-solving techniques. I use interactive methods, including visual aids and real-world examples, to make learning fun and accessible.

For 11+ students, my lessons emphasise key mathematical concepts, exam techniques, and time management strategies. I provide structured practice with past paper questions, ensuring students become familiar with the types of questions they will face and develop effective problem-solving strategies.

For secondary school students, I align lessons with their school curriculum, helping them master algebra, geometry, ratios, and more. I ensure students fully understand concepts rather than just memorising methods, which is crucial for long-term success in maths.

As a Year 12 student, I bring a fresh perspective, having recently gone through the same learning process. I understand the challenges students face and aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress at their own pace.
