Hello, my name is ChiChi.
I am an experienced English Common-Law trained Lawyer, with law practice, Energy industry (Oil, Gas and Renewables), academic teaching, and broader training experience.

I give online lessons to Law students in my areas of competence, namely: Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Public International Law, International Environmental Law, Oil & Gas Law, and Mining Law. Such tutoring can be provided to individual students, or in small groups, depending on what has been requested and the agreed fees.
In addition to using standard presentation slides, providing reading lists and reference materials, I support my students to stay engaged whilst delivering online lessons by using multi-media (e.g., video clips, newspaper articles, etc) to illustrate legal principles, court decisions and contemporary developments in the subject area being taught. I also give assignments to students to check their level of understanding and assimilation of the topics being taught, and provide feedback (aggregated, if a group) at subsequent lessons.

I also give training seminars, workshops and presentations to companies, corporate bodies and other institutions on legal topics around Legal, Regulatory and Ethics Compliance, Corporate/Institutional Governance, International Environment Law, Sustainability, Climate Change Law and the Energy Transition. These sort of trainings are developed to meet the client's exact requirements, including key areas of focus and delivery style. Hence, there could be break-out sessions for small group clusters to hold discussions or tackle case studies and provide feedback to the wider group, or other stimulating activities to keep the participants alert and fully engaged. Where the seminars run for a couple of hours, there would be small breaks in between. It costs more than 40/hr to develop and deliver such learning events.
Whether providing online tutoring for students, or giving (online or onsite) training seminars, workshops and presentations to companies, corporate bodies and other institutions, I make every effort to ensure that the client’s needs are effectively addressed, and that they have a fulfilling experience. To support continuous improvement of the services I deliver, I always obtain the client’s feedback, at the conclusion of every assignment.
