I believe that private tutoring is an immense opportunity to aid students in gaining a deeper insight and understanding to their subject matter. My methodology isn't focused on making students forcefully memorize content but rather understand the concepts and ideas behind the problem to then use logic and reasoning to learn and internalize them. My philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves.
The typical minimum length of a lesson ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the age of the student.
I have experience teaching English to students where English is not their first language. I spent the 2021/2022 academic year as an English Language assistant in Spain for students from ages 10-17. I have also worked at English Language summer camps as a teacher where we had to deliver classes in a fun way, different from the school model while still following a set curriculum
