Chiara Fumanti

Hello! My name is Chiara, I am 29 and I was born and raised in Rome, Italy.
I moved to London 9 years ago to study and work as an actress.

I have recently achieved my MA in Creative Writing at the University of Surrey, from which I also hold a Theatre BA. I also hold a Language high school diploma (Liceo Classico Orazio, Roma) and a higher diploma in Performing Arts (LTCL level 6 - KSA Academy of Performing Arts).

I am an experienced tutor, and I have previously worked with both children and adults. I like to keep some fun involved in the learning process. I like a good laugh! I also like to tailor my teaching to each student, I really like to get to know how each student learns and what works best for them! I am always open to feedback and ideas - as I always say, I am your tool to get to the place you want to be. So, flexibility is of utmost importance in my teaching!

I also have previous experience in childcare and teaching kids aged 2 to 11. Back in Italy, I used to teach drama and English. In my classes I would have about 15 kids and I would use theatre, singing, arts and crafts as a medium to learn English language.
