My name is Cher and I am a medical student at a top UK Russell Group medical school, and I have several years of online and in-person tutoring experience.

The students whom I have taught ranged from 8-year-old to 17/18-year-old IB students and even professional adults who needed help with pronunciation and translation services.

I love meeting new people and learning about their culture, and apart from mathematics and the sciences, I also very much enjoy teaching languages, as language is the key to building communication and connections with people around the world.

My achievements include gaining the top grade (Level 9) in my GCSE English language and English Literature, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chinese, Divinity and Philosophy (Religious Studies), and Geography exams. As well as earning 39 points out of 45 for my International Baccalaureate Diploma, in which I took English Language and Literature, Chemistry, and Biology as my higher-level subjects.

My ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive and personalised tutoring service for students, as helping students overcome their barriers is my top priority.

In lessons, I usually use a creative and professional PowerPoint format to display the majority of the content/knowledge taught to students. For better interactions with my students, I also use Google docs, as students can input their own information in the Google document I share with them. This allows students to better express the content of their concerns or questions they are confused about. For younger students, I can also communicate with parents via email or WhatsApp to update them on their child's current progress.
