I graduated from the Top Ranked University in China for Broadcasting and Announcing and have been working as a presenter and journalist for over 6 years on provincial and national radio stations. I can speak perfect Mandarin Chinese, which can be understood as RP Mandarin. Understand the profound logic of Mandarin Chinese pronunciation so that every pronunciation can be practised scientifically. I also completed a Masters degree in Education at Glasgow University. I know how to teach properly and scientifically.
For many Westerners learning Chinese, the four different tones are the key to bothering them, actually, it is an equally unmissable problem for many Chinese, yet people do not realise why this problem exists and how it can be solved. I will start with a scientific approach to pronunciation that will give you the knowledge of how to learn Chinese pronunciation and the following steps will be easier and better. Imitation and repetition without scientific knowledge of pronunciation is necessary, but not necessarily the most effective. For further practical and effective methods, I will give you a taste of the importance of scientific pronunciation during the course.
During my time as a presenter, I had the food programme that I planned and ran, meanwhile, I hosted a traffic programme as well as a morning news programme, and in my early years hosted music programmes. I have also been certified by the China National Radio and Television Administration as a presenter management training holder. My voice is warm and my pronunciation is scientific. I look forward to meeting you!
