So i tend to slowly explain the topic then demonstrate and then allow the child to try. for example if we were doing algebra, i'd explain, demonstrate and give a calculation to the child to do. i also can set up powerpoints to show the child as well, i use workbooks, i can also provide the child a book to record and write down everything they've learned. I also do a recall lesson with said child,...
So i tend to slowly explain the topic then demonstrate and then allow the child to try. for example if we were doing algebra, i'd explain, demonstrate and give a calculation to the child to do. i also can set up powerpoints to show the child as well, i use workbooks, i can also provide the child a book to record and write down everything they've learned. I also do a recall lesson with said child, every three weeks, as to record everything they have recently learnt that I've taught them, without making them go through the whole process of learning it again.
