My lessons are mainly structured through a topical basis. During these sessions students will be able to ask questions and I will tailor methods of learning to suit each child’s needs. Firstly, we will cover learning objectives, then we will go through each systematically, whilst going through questions throughout the session so children can familiarise themselves with the structure of their exams. Interactivity is important to me, so quizzes and interactive games will be introduced for younger students or students who struggle with monotonous teaching. I have firsthand experience of how to make a classroom interactive, and so I understand the importance of it and how it impacts how much knowledge we actually retain. Not only this, but I will offer a bi-weekly Q&A session in which students can ask about anything they are struggling with and I will teach them how to tackle that topic. This is done to increase their confidence, as well as maintain a rapport between myself and your child. Ultimately, this will enable students to understand the more difficult topics, and ensure that they can remain fully engaged in the sessions so you can get the most of your money. The overall aim of these sessions is to not only finish the content by the exam deadline, but ensure your child feels fully equipped to enter their exams, and feel little/no anxiety when they step into their exam venue.
