I am a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence in their studies. My approach is personalized: I believe every student has a unique learning style, so I adjust my teaching methods to meet each individual’s needs. I aim to make challenging concepts accessible by breaking them down into manageable steps, encouraging active participation, and fostering a supportive environment where questions are always welcome.
My lessons are primarily aimed at students who may be struggling to keep up with class material, those aiming to excel and push beyond the basics, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their subject. I focus on building a strong foundational knowledge while developing critical thinking skills that students can apply in exams and beyond. I work with students across a range of ages and abilities, from primary through high school, and adapt my materials and methods accordingly.
I am currently studying Economics and International Relations at the University of St Andrews, and studied the IB at school, where I did HL Maths, Economics and Global Politics. As such I have had to work hard for top grades in difficult subjects, such as Maths and Economics, as well as balancing extracurricular activities such as sports and music. Through my hard work, I have developed an excellent understanding of each subject, which I can transfer into teaching you to understand in kind. If you are interested in a lesson for my subject, message me; I'm always happy to help!
