I have some experience tutoring Maths and Chemistry GCSE, particularly close to exams when practising exam question technique. Each lesson will include a short warm-up, on previously studied topics, followed by a session on one particular topic that you are struggling with. This time is for explaining and walking through the key steps followed by plenty of practice questions. I like to finish each session by having a discussion about how the session was, how confident the student feels on the topic now and what topic they would like to study next.
