About me

At the start of the sessions I’ll gauge the areas the student struggles most with and agree on a plan with the student to work on them. Then most of the work will be doing some questions together, then independent work and going through the answers with me. Maths is best learnt through practice and asking as many questions as you need to which is why I don’t follow strict structures in my session...
At the start of the sessions I’ll gauge the areas the student struggles most with and agree on a plan with the student to work on them. Then most of the work will be doing some questions together, then independent work and going through the answers with me. Maths is best learnt through practice and asking as many questions as you need to which is why I don’t follow strict structures in my sessions to allow what the student is finding hard lead what we do. I’m happy to work through work books that the student already has or use my own resources.
