I will tweak my lessons to each student, giving them a personalised set of lessons depending on their learning style, I will treat the student(s) with kindness and understanding if they struggle with a topic. I have taught people how to read and do maths successfully before and would love to help you or your child. The whole purpose of the lessons is to bring the best out of my students. So the format can change, but it would most likely be learning aspects of the topics thoroughly before going over them to ensure the student knows what they need to. The lessons can be structured with a PowerPoint or through worksheets. I would present these two styles to the student(s) to see which they prefer, then go from there, moulding myself so that they have the best teaching experience and achieve the best possible grades. I would be friendly towards the student(s), but firm so they both see me as kind, therefore wanting to do the work, but also see me as someone who won't let them slack off. I will push your child/you to the best of your ability and further. If you shoot for the stars and achieve the moon, you've still done your best, and that's what matters; the moon is a goal for some, too. I would ensure that you/your child gets the best grades possible. I got the equivalent of As and above in my GCSEs and will do my best to make sure you/your child can do the same.
