My lessons prioritise the student's engagement and understanding of material, so that they can apply it to similar questions and challenges, instead of focusing solely on the correct answers for a specific exam paper. I am putting into practice learning techniques I have learnt about and understood in my Psychology BSc studies. These include accessing prior knowledge, utilising feedback effectively, and practice questions. I engage in detailed and necessary communication with parents of students, to ensure that their children's specific needs and challenges are being addressed.
