Hi there! I'm an undergraduate music student at the University of Southampton. I am a passionate educator: I've tutored for the past three years, and consider myself a particularly empathetic, committed and articulate teacher. My recent qualifications include A*A*A at A-Level, and six A*s at GCSE. I am always keen to help with any academic/creative troubles you may be having, or even help explore your interests further beyond the curriculum. Whatever it is that you require, I will do nothing less than my best to help!

I usually tailor 1-hour sessions completely to my tutees' needs: I feel that an hour (with a break in-between) allows time for plenty of knowledge to be absorbed, while still maintaining great alertness levels (although I would be happy to discuss alternative times if needed). I'm very happy to cover anything that you feel may be holding you back (e.g. theory, composition, analytical skills, essay skills, performance skills etc.) I've been tutoring for the past three years so have lots of experience with students of many abilities, and I love continuing to learn from every new experience! In terms of performance, I have ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano, and Grade 7 in violin/viola (I have also studied to Grade 8 level in theory). Although I mainly tutor for GCSE & A-Level, I would be more than happy to cover material for KS3 too. My primary objectives are always to maintain a non-judgemental, safe and positive learning environment.
