I have had a passion for social sciences since for over 5 years, learning about the different avenues of life and how there are various lens to understand someone’s social situation. From learning different subjects such as sociology, criminology, social policy I have learned to understand these topics with great intensity. With this it means I have extensive knowledge from a A-level standpoint and then onto an undergraduate degree within this field of study. Demonstrating how my knowledge has expanded through further education along with extensive reading surrounding these topics. When studying this topic, it has flourished into a passion of mine becoming pro-active within my learning, constantly engaging with different writers perspectives in order to gain different viewpoint within arguments. Furthermore, I feel I would be a good match for this role as I am a recent university graduate, meaning the information which I have learned is still fresh indicating a quick response to questions surrounding this role need. Moreover, as a recent graduate I can relate to those students, understanding the workload but also being a demonstration of the positives, which education has. Therefore being a mentor who has the relatability to those students surrounding pressure of exams but highlighting how rewarding the aftermath of the hard work is.
