Hi! I'm Charlotte, I am a Belgian living in the UK.
Back in Belgium I studied Applied Linguistics (English-Dutch) at the University of Brussels (VUB). And now that I have moved abroad I would like to share my experience with others in similar situations. Did you fall madly in love with an Englishman like I did? Or did you move over for work or family? Maybe you just want to improve your English as a hobby or you simply love languages. Whatever your reasons, English is a great language to know! And learning a new language is not just useful in your daily life, it also helps keep your brain ready to learn and adapt!

The Plan:
Step 1: Identifying your specific needs.
I want to know what your life looks like! In which situations do you need English? This can go from food shopping and chatting with your neighbours to more professional settings where you need to know the work related jargon.
Step 2: determining your skill level.
During our first session I will determine your level of English and which aspects you need help with (such as spelling, grammar, pronunciation, etc)
Step 3: The lesson plan.
Based on your needs and skill level, I will set up a lesson plan focusing on your life and what you need English for the most. We can alternate speaking/listening and reading/writing or we can focus more on one or the other depending on your individual preferences. I am fully flexible to help you achieve your goals.
